Description by couchtuner for Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 7 Episode 2 : Buffy wakes from a bad dream with the warning, “From beneath you, it devours.” Xander meets a young woman, Nancy, who’s dog was eaten by a large creature that burrowed up out of the ground. Spike offers his assistance in dealing with the monster, but Buffy and the gang are still a little uneasy about having him around. In tracking down the monster, the Scoobies soon discover that an estranged friend has returned to her old ways. Meanwhile, Willow has mixed emotions as she prepares to leave England and return to Sunnydale.
