In the meantime, Katherine organizes a little luncheon for Lynette, and she wants to bring dessert: a lemon meringue pie. However, Bree, who is always in charge of desserts, insists Katherine should just bring a salad. During the little get-together, Lynette realizes her friend Gabrielle doesn’t want to accompany her during chemo, something which upsets her deeply.
