Just as they are telling Philip about Linda’s strange tastes, a hideous gold lamé sofa arrives. Philip has no other choice but to tell Linda that he despises the furniture she has chosen. Linda is flabbergasted to hear that Philip dislikes her choices, because she sought guidance from his daughter, Caroline. However, when Linda and Hattie go to Philip’s place to see for themselves, they discover that there has been a mix-up with the delivery; it’s not the furniture they picked out.
