Season four part one ended with Kimmy, Titus (Tituss Burgess), Lillian (Carol Kane) and Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) being watched by an unknown man who calls someone to say: “I have yes on the target. Moving to Phase Two.”

The unknown man is the voice of Jon Bernthal, who plays Frank Castle in The Punisher.

Although a Marvel crossover is highly unlikely, it looks like Bernthal will play a significant role in part two.

Kimmy is also likely to be the target he is referring to and it may have something to do with the true-crime documentary she was watching in the first part of season four.

The documentary revealed that DJ Slizzard was actually Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne (Jon Hamm), who led the cult Kimmy was formerly a part of.

The documentary also covered the Innocence Project, led by men rights activists Fran Dodd (Bobby Moynihan) and his attempt to free the Reverend Wayne and prove the whole cult was a lie.

The documentary also included the season three revelation that Kimmy is still technically married to the Reverend.
