With all engine power lost, Captain Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger and co-pilot Jeffrey Skyles were forced to glide the plane and perform an emergency ditching in the Hudson River. All 155 people on board survived the ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ thanks to the quick thinking by the crew.
