As a new season of Latin Pro-Am competition begins, five women who dance as a hobby prepare themselves for the first competition of the year. The stress of trying to balance jealous husbands, demanding jobs and an all-consuming hobby comes to a head when the ladies come face to face on the dance floor.

“Second Place Is Losing”
The first competition of the season kicks off, and the women leave it all on the dance floor. Back at home, the ladies are already thinking about the next competition as they settle back into their normal lives. Sabrina vows to redeem her second-place finish and misses Passover to rehearse but faces roadblocks along the way. Colette spends quality time with her son. Leonie still doesn’t feel ready to tackle a big competition. Donie and her pro dance partner discuss her poor placement. Colette reveals how deeply the breakup with her old pro affected her.

Leonie still feels insecure about her partnership with Koysta and her own ability, so they head to a smaller competition near home while the rest of the women compete at a larger competition in New Orleans.
