The series follow the every-day life of a middle-class almost ‘upper’ African-American family. The head of this family is Andre ‘Dre’ Johnson Sir (played by Anthony Anderson – The Shield, K-Ville, Law & Order), an advertising executive that bring enough income to provide for all their needs. The main problems with their family start from the fact that they live in a white neighborhood. The cultural differences annoy Andre to no end and, as stubborn as he is, he is becoming slowly ridiculously attached to the Affrican heritage forcing the entire family into a set of activities that will help them find their true values, unlike the superficial, money-hungry white people.

Anyone can imagine how all this can backfire and the amount of humor created by the countless awkward situations will only keep the audience glued in front of the screen.
